2023 Club Championship Finals 

Archibald Walker Trophy - two of the clubs scratch team members Aidan Long and Jamie Hay went head to head, with last years champion Aidan taking an early lead, only to be pulled back by Jamie.  However Aidan showed his growing experience by pulling away again to win comfortably by 4 and 3 and defend his trophy

Daldorch Trophy - A new name would be added to this trophy as the final was contested by Robert Cameron and Derick Bentley, neither of whom had won it before.  Derick established an early lead through some steady golf as Bob found some bunker trouble.  Although Bob had managed to recover from dormie 3 down in a previous round, it was a lead that Derick would not surrender and eventually shook hands with Bob on the 14th green to win 5/4.

Jim Wiseman trophy - was contested by Alan Stewart and Andrew McFarlane.  For most of this match it was a very close affair, and the match was all square with 7 holes to play. However, Alan won several holes in a row as Andy visited the extremely penal rough, losing a couple of balls, and this was to be his downfall as Alan ended the match at the 15th green.

Junior Scratch Championship - was contrested between Gregor Hay and Connor McMillan.  The standard of play was very high with Gregor just edging out Connor by 2 holes, the difference probably being down to Gregor making slightly fewer errors on that day.

Junior Handicap Championship - this competition was between two of the clubs keenest young players, Adam Brown and Thomas Carlyle, with both out on the course frequently throughout the year.  Playing very steadily, Adam managed to overcome Thomas 4 / 3.  The match was refereed by the senior clubs Vice Captain Ricky Innes who indicated how impressed he was by the boys golfing ability, and their overall behaviour and sportsmanship. 

Well done to all club champions, and while the losers will be disappointed, they should be congratulated for reaching the finals as this is a fine achievement in itself.
