We operate an extensive all year round competition schedule with our summer competitions, (March – October), played over the championship Belleisle course and the winter competitions (Nov – March) over the smaller Seafield course. Members can play their competition round on either a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, with the option to participate in General Play rounds for handicap at any time.
The club actively participates in the Ayrshire Golf leagues in both the scratch and handicap sections. These matches while competitive, are fun events and give members the opportunity to play with and meet golfers from clubs across Ayrshire. Social matches against other local clubs and with the ladies and junior sections.are also part of the fixture list.
Our blossoming junior section is also very active at both club and local level. It consists of a broad age range of mixed ability golfers, is very well organised, and we are proud to have developed a number of excellent golfers who have gone on to win local, national and world events.
We would ask visitors and potential members to this page to note two things :
- we are an unconstituted club and as such, all persons joining us should note that in doing so they sign up to the club constitution (which can be found on this website at Club Documents / Club Constitution)
- that completing the online membership form is an indication that the person is wishing to join Ayr Belleisle Golf Club and participate in its events. We have no affiliation with South Ayrshire Council or its golf club and we have no provision to sell or enable SAC season tickets to be purchased and enable persons to play over the municipal courses.
