The junior club begin their 2026 under 18 and under 16 team fixture season in good form.  At the area team championship on April 19th over Prestwick St Cuthberts our 4-person team of Harris Vennard, Ryan Steven, Connor McMillan & Finlay Brock put in a excellent performance to finish runner up in the scratch team championship, finishing behind a very strong Turnberry Team.  The under 18's have been drawn in 5 team Group A  (see table below), drawing 2 and winning 2 so far..

In the Wallace Thornton Trophy (scratch event) on 8th May, the guys once again came up against a strong Turnberry team, going down by a score of 3 - 1 at Seafield.  Individual results were : - Harris Vennard won 3/1, Ryan Steven lost 1 down, Finlay Brock lost 6/4 and Connor McMillan lost 3/2

In the under 16's team knockout the guys started with a fine 4-0 home win against Prestwick St Nicholas on 29th April and will now face Annanhill in the next round. Individual results were Harris Vennard won 7/6, Ryan Steven won 7/6, Harry Moran won 8/6 and Francis McLaughlin won 3/2.  It should be noted that this is a handicap event and so very difficult to win.

In the AGA Champion of Champions, Harris Vennard received a walk over into the quarter finals where he will play Jenson Fergusson (Prestwick St Cuthbert).  He also performed extremely well in a really outstandiing quality field in a recent junior tour of Scotland event at Portpatrick, finishing runner up with rounds of 68, 74 and 67
